How to write your first post

Starting can feel challenging. just do it and leave your fears behind.

If you want to start writing a blog or create your own website starting can become a bit intimidating.

How to create content? How to write so that I can captivate my audience? There are many questions that need answering and at some point seemed like they would be easy to understand. But as we contemplate what our choices are and what is the best decision to make we forget to see that we have stopped walking towards the goal.

“start walking, think along the way. change your path if you need to. but  if you don’t start, you can’t get there.”

Aproach

Plan your startegy

Decide what you want to write about or what feels more comfortable to you. Decide a name for your domain and where to host it. Word Press is one of the most common ways to create blogs and websites and this website was created with Word  Press.

  1. Domain name                      The name could be anything. A ton of names are taken. Just make it memorable and easy. You can always change it later or just grow to like your name. You can re-direct traffic to your new URL if you decide to change it later.
  2. Hosting                                  This will be based on your preference. WordPress recommends 3 companies. I’ll save you some time and advise to use Dreamhost.

Primary

Never give up

Priorities

If you focus on too many things you might not complete any. You will have many things to lean and skills to improve. Decide your main goal and work on that first. Once you can see work that is complete you can start branching out to growing your website.

Deadlines

Life comes at you quick. If you haven’t heard yet content is king. To keep people interested you need to provide them value. It can be entertainment, knowledge, savings or many others.

Good luck!!!
